What to Expect at Discover Chiropractic:
Your Home for Lifetime Family Wellness Chiropractic Care

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

Your New Patient Introductory visit includes:

  • Meeting Dr. T.J. Osborne, as well as our fabulous team
  • A thorough health consultation
  • A unique and highly accurate examination, which includes some basic pictures of your spine (if necessary) to determine whether or not you are eligible for care in this office.

At the end of your DISCOVERY VISIT, you will be scheduling TWO appointments with the doctor.

  1. The first appointment is the DISCOVERY REPORT.  During the appointment you will meet with Dr. Osborne to discuss the results from your examination and x-rays and your eligibility of care.  You will then receive a gentle customized spinal adjustment (if eligible).  This first adjustment is beneficial for you to experience our care and for the doctor to monitor your response.
Please be timely, as the doctor makes great effort to begin this report promptly.
  2. Your next visit is extremely important.  At this SOLUTION REPORT you’ll receive our very best recommendations for your future care and discuss the most cost-effective and affordable ways for you to benefit from our advanced care.  Since you may be making an important decision about your future health at this report, the doctor requires that you bring your spouse with you so that he/she has a complete understanding of your test results and recommendations.

Both reports take approximately 45 minutes.

Please Note: Although we are a family practice, we kindly request that you either arrange for childcare or have your children play in our “Chiro Kids Area” during your reports.  We recommend that children ten and up who will be receiving care stay in the report room.

Dr. T.J. Asks some important questions of interest to Downtown San Jose residents - Chiropractor Downtown San Jose Dr. T.J. Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
